From its name alone you can start imagining that this fish looks like a blob. You won’t even think it will pass as a fish. In 2010 it was called the most miserable looking fish because of how every part of it looks droopy and just plain sad. The Blobfish lives 800 meters in the deep and can grow up to 12 inches. This fish of the deep sea lives with crabs and lobsters which makes it easy for fishermen to haul it up the surface. Although this fish is not edible it is in danger of being extinct due to over-fishing in eastern Australia. Now that is another reason for the blobfish to feel miserable.
