Romania, never celebrated Father’s Day until 2010 when an association known as TATA appealed for a holiday in the honor of the Fathers. Their appeal was heard and the second Sunday of the month of May was declared as a holiday so that Fathers could celebrate the day without any tension of work with their kids. The day is celebrated with the same rituals like other countries where the kids present gifts to their Fathers, which includes neckties, shirts, trousers, etc along with flowers and cards. What make this country’s tradition special is the enthusiasm and a fresh feeling that is observed because of the newly declared holiday in the name of Fathers.
