This cocktail is made entirely of fruit juices and spirits. It is mostly made with vodka and cranberry juice and garnished with a slice of lemon. Of course you can always vary the proportions according to your taste preferences but the preferred vodka-to-juice ratios are ¼, 1/3.7, ½ and 1/1.5. This particular drink originated in the year 1945 and it was named as Cape Codder in the early 1960s. The drink is highly popular on the beaches of Massachusetts.
